Welcome to Pop's Farm Market

A Family-Owned and Operated Farm

With five generations of more than 160 years' experience, you can place your full confidence in our ability to provide you with fresh, homegrown Jersey fresh produce and quality flowers & plants. We do the growing and the picking so you can rest assured you are getting the best quality from our farm market.

Dave's Dad (The Original Pop) had an oversized garden in the front yard. It was an old-school, put your money in the can kind of garden, where neighbors and locals could get homegrown veggies; he also had chickens and pigs. With ten kids, growing his own was the best way to feed his family fresh food. At 14-years-old, Dave worked with his dad growing pumpkins for the wholesale market. Eventually, some of the other Byrne brothers went into farming themselves.

Over the years, Pop's garden has transformed into the familiar farm stand and garden center. As the community grew up around the Byrne family, we began growing more and more vegetables. In the late 1980s, the farm store officially became Pop's Farm Market- going from mostly wholesale growers to a retail market as the population rose around the farm. From the 1990s-2010s, we offered a Jack-O-Lantern display that attracted thousands around Halloween. During COVID, Pop's took online orders and continued providing homegrown, local produce to the community. In 2022, Pop's opened Linwood Fields across the street as our very own pick-your-own patch and event space where we have hosted numerous food truck-vendor events. As of 2024 we have begun hosting goat yoga, wine tasting events, custom workshops, and private events at Linwood Fields. Stay tuned for what else we have in store by joining our weekly newsletter!
